Have a nice 'shift'

I didn't update my blog for a few days now. That is mainly due to the fact that there wasn't anything worth mentioning happening around here.

Saturday was O.K., a friend of my father invited us for dinner which was good, and the days that followed were worryingly boring. Stayed in for the next couple of days doing absolutely nothing apart from playing PS2 and going online… I must admit though, the bed is great and the food is even better. Apart from today where I finally had to go somewhere, I barely had any face-to-face interaction with anyone apart from the hotel staff… Even started telling them “Have a nice shift!” when they finish whatever they are doing in the room (Or delivering the delicious food: P)!

Three days of more sleeping and doing nothing left, a mini-vacation that started off so well has turned into unbelievable boredom. And by the way, please don’t bother to give suggestions, heard them all before :)

On a trip

Arrived in Amman, Jordan half a day ago. Just came back to the hotel from a long (but fun) day…

Been up for about two days, not even sure how many hours, napped for barely a few hours but surprisingly I am NOT feeling that tired nor sleepy. Flight was OK, nothing bad, nothing special (As usual, *yawn*). After finally arriving at the hotel had to open the door a hundred or so times as stuff that were supposed to be in the guestroom prior to our arrival had to be delivered but that’s no big deal…

In the afternoon after all the opening and closing decided to have a nap, woke up an hour later alone in the room, I have no clue whatsoever where my family were and what they were up to but nevertheless I went out to meet some great members from the Jordanian forum I go to (www.mahjoob.com) , lots of laughing and talking. Being able to finally relate nicknames to faces is fantastic indeed! :)

Then one of the ‘Mahajeeb’ that I’ve known for a while dropped me to our neighborhood, or what we call in our Arabic dialect as “hara”, met up with the neighbors, checked out our small garden and our house and it was well beyond my expectations, not bad at all! Bad thing is that I was rather shocked because I had to wait for around 15 minutes to find a vacant cab, which is surprising in Amman as it never really was a major issue to find one, anyway, here I am back in the hotel chatting & snacking… Tomorrow is another day!

Argument with an Israeli

Time to bother to update my blog. I had a journal entry on my deviantart page that was regarding what people living in the UAE can do to try and ease the mysery of our brothers and sisters up in Lebanon and an Israeli member replied to it.

For a link (And easier viewing), please click here:

These are his comments:

Im israeli citizen, and i am really sorry for what happening in Lebanon,to your citys to your civilians and everything that got damaged by IDF.

But please understand , we do it for self defense ,defense from the evil terrorist army that kidnap soldiers and bombing our north. they doesnt really came to protect the Lebanonise Lands they just do their own bussines.
We got nothing personal to the Labanonis citizens and we are man of peace.

Hope it will End soon without much looses.

Thank you and Good Luck.

And here is my reply (Rather call it my bashing):

Hi,

Before I start ranting, please excuse my abusive language but I am writing out of frustration.

Self defence? Can you tell me how the fuck killing children and women in Qana before yesterday is self defence? Can you please tell me how on earth did these innocent civilians affect the land that you stole from us Palestinians over 50 years ago? Can you also tell me what is the point of bombing all parts of Lebanon, south, north and all the routes that lead to Syria? If your stupid and ridiculously coward army has any clue or logical thinking you would target Hezbollah in the south rather than bomb a whole country. What is the point of bombing the airport time and time again? I mean use the freakin' logic everyone knows that the airport was NEVER used to transfer weapons and missiles to Hezbollah fighters (God bless them)

Well, it seems that you forgot the hundreds, if not thousands of Lebanese people who were kidnapped by Israel in the past, and this is not about two fucking soldiers, and even if that was the case, does it justify blowing up an entire country? Screwing up the lives of hundreds of thousands of people?

Bombing your north? You (And the whole fucked up Israeli and international media and their ignorant double-standards) make it look like as if your whole country is in shambles, that the infrastructure is non-existent, people are being stranded without food and shelter, when will the whole world open up their bloody eyes and realize that all of the above is WHAT HAPPEND TO INNOCENT LEBANESE PEOPLE. Tel-Aviv is not even touched yet, Haifa, oh boy, those poor people in the north probably had a bus stop or a metro station affected, may God help them with their misery... FUCK OFF THE WHOLE OF SOUTHERN BEIRUT HAS BEEN WIPED OFF THE MAP YOU CUNTS

Before replying to my bloody rant, please check this link here:

Don't bother to look at the causalities of the military, look at the civilians, up to 750 Lebanese civilians died as opposed to 19 Israeli, if people have any sense, you would realize that what your 'country' is doing an unjustified massacre.

Let's take it on a personal level, can you PLEASE tell me if you personally know any people that:
- Had their homes and their relative’s homes bombed by your war planes (And believe me, those people are FAR from being anything dangerous to you and your fucking country)
- Had their whole academic and professional future screwed up? There are people who had Lebanon as their last resort to study due to various reasons who are now stranded, one of my friends has had to travel by bus on a long journey to Jordan to struggle to catch a flight back to his country, and did any of you cunts have to do it? I hugely doubt that.

Peace
